Two by Two

That seems to be the theme of this post.

I can't believe my babies are 2! We waited 2 long and lonely years for them and now we have had the pleasure of knowing them for 2 years. They are every bit of 2. They are very curious and talk constantly-except around new people and new environments. They are two very different little people. These pictures were taken this morning at breakfast. Notice the big boy boosters.

Let me tell you a little about Drew. He is our people person. His favorite new saying is "See ya." He is very verbal and yet very sensitive. He is also the dominant twin. He doesn't know it but Gavin could easily take him down, but he is in charge. He is cleaning my floors and playing with a box as we speak. He loves to play with his trucks and make coffee in his kitchen. He is very independent.

Gavin has such a sweet heart (most of the time). As a typical younger brother (by one minute), he likes to instigate things though too. He doesn't know he could take down his brother either. He is very physical and loves to be held. He is also a close talker and likes to know he has your attention when he has something to say. He loves his brother and always tries to take care of him. I think he is going to be my little tattle tale. Which will be nice because his brother already needs it.

The picture of the family above is from last night. The other 2 that we have been blessed with is our care group for the last 2 years. They are not only our spiritual family but also our family away from family. We had a baby shower/boys' birthday party/ and final bash last night. We had a great time and they are a great group of people who are great to our boys and us.

Well, I think that is all I am able to write now. We need to head out to a brunch with one of my mom's groups. I will post more next week on their birthday party Sat. and maybe we can get some video between now and then. Have a blessed day! We love you boys and happy birthday!

You WON'T believe how fast they will grow up! I think my twins were 2 yesterday. Everyone tells you that, but it's SO true. Don't you just love to watch the differences in twins! It has amazed me. I also think the one that comes first(by one minute, too) usually is making their entrance first becasue they know the other twin is going to take over! HA! Keep us posted on the new arrival. Has this pregnancy been easier with only one in there???Take care! Traci
